THE HAUC(UK) CODE OF CONDUCT
HAUC(UK) Code of Conduct
The joint chairs of HAUC(UK) were delighted to launch the HAUC(UK) Code of Conduct in May 2011. The voluntary agreement is another important milestone in the partnership between utility companies and local authorities to work together to minimise disruption and improve standards of road and street works.
The initiative builds on the success of the Mayor of London’s Code of Conduct for street works and the subsequent NJUG National Code of Conduct.
It is hoped that the HAUC(UK) Code of Conduct will mirror the considerable success enjoyed by the previous two initiatives.
