Sustainability Statement
The NJUG Sustainability Working Group is committed to working with the utility sector to provide a central hub of guidance and support to deliver the NJUG Vision.
Sustainability and the NJUG Vision
Sustainability is a key part of the NJUG Vision for Street Works, symbolised in our fifth Vision statement: "Utilities maximise the use of sustainable methods and materials". The full Vision can be at by clicking here.
Similarly, Director-level endorsements of the Vision and all its statements can be located here.
The Sustainability 'footprint'
The 'footprint' is synonymous with the word 'environment' from where we can break down what makes up our 'footprint'. NJUG's is made up of materials, plant, techniques, and operations, and can be viewed here.
The consideration of this footprint falls to teh NJUG Sustainability Working Group who are working to ensure that all NJUG members strive to use both sustainable materials and sustainable methods in their work.
