NJUG Welcomes Laing O’Rourke as New Members
Leading street works contractor joins the National Joint Utilities Group11th February 2009 –The National Joint Utilities Group (NJUG), the UK trade association representing utilities on street works matters, has welcomed its latest associate member, Laing O’Rourke, one of the UK’s leading street works contractors.
In alliance with some of the UK's main utility providers, including NJUG members, Laing O'Rourke upgrades, maintains, and replaces key underground and above ground assets.
Laing O’Rourke’s Infrastructure Business Leader Phill Price, said: “We are delighted to join NJUG as associate members, and add our support to the industry’s efforts of promoting best practice in street works. We look forward to working with NJUG and its members immediately to encourage self regulation and a two-way relationship with Government and stakeholders.”
